Never overwrite versions.
This folder holds the history of LEKA — old handoff docs, deprecated words, abandoned glyphs, design rounds we passed over. Nothing is deleted; every era is preserved.
What Belongs Here
- Old handoff docs — v0.2, v0.3, v0.4, v0.5, v0.8, etc. Drop them in as they're replaced.
- Deprecated words — with the story of why they changed
- Abandoned glyph designs — early sketches, options not chosen
- Old phonologies — when sounds were added or removed
- Chat exports — important sessions you want to preserve

Glyph Design History
- t glyph: Half Moon (v0.3, current); previously a circle with arched top (v0.2)
- n glyph: Twin Arcs (v0.3, current); previously a curl-top (v0.2), briefly Half Moon (rejected — too close to t)
- y glyph: Vessel (v0.3, current); previously a wishbone shape (v0.2)
- * (click) glyph: Spiral (v0.3, current); previously a burst with four petals (v0.2)
- Breath mark (apostrophe): Crescent Breath (v0.7, added); small upward-curving arc between consonants
Version Milestones
- v0.2 — Early draft with optional consonants (d, f, b, v) and w
- v0.3 — First handoff doc; 101 core words across 8 categories; suffix system established
- v0.4 — Phonology tightened (w → v; d, f, b removed); two-script system formalized; ceremonial script v0.1
- v0.5 — Ceremonial script v0.3 (t, n, y, click glyphs refined)
- v0.6 — Letter names added (17 names) and Numbers 0–10 introduced; lima as the one Austronesian exception
- v0.7 — Apostrophe-breath rule for s'h; Crescent Breath ceremonial mark; compound stress rule; word ratification process locked
- v0.8 — Third-person pronouns (eki/ali/eri, proximity-based); possessive suffix system; click semantics formalized (weight/presence/sacredness, 4 tiers); collective possession via click-infix
